Some games are really rubbish, like so rubbish they make us angry and want to punch the screen and yell: “You’re rubbish, you stupid rubbish idiot of a game”. We don’t like those sorts of games, but other games we love and want to cuddle and pat and say nice things to like: “Game, you’re a really fun game and my bestest friend… I love you”.
So, as it is Friday, the designated day for fun, let us share with you some of the games that we love and that you can go away and play in between Oh, My Word! sessions:

Grow Cube: What are those little fellas up to?
This game should sit in the rubbish category, but for some reason, well, it rapidly grows on you *badoom tish*. If you work out how and why this game isn’t dull please let us know in the comments (we genuinely have no idea why we like it).
A collect of mini puzzles where you have to find a hidden star. They’re all brilliantly simple, but really cunning and even funny at times.
Sorry Mac Heads, this one is for the Windows kiddies only. From the awesome Cactus Software this quirky areana shooter is the perfect example of fast-pace addictive gameplay. Direct download here.
If Mirror’s Edge had been made for the Game Boy it would have probably looked like this.
Paper Toss (iPhone / iPod touch)
A really, really simple concept: Flick paper in to the bin. Our top score on Easy is 19. Can you beat that? You probably can, we’re rubbish at it.
