Mobile Pie

My back and legs are aching, aching, aching after a hard weekend igfesting. Particularly punishing was yesterday’s back-to-back Korean Lazer Ball and potentially lethal Sparkler Relay, followed by the post-games drinking session!

I enjoyed all of the games that I played and helped out on, but there was so much happening I missed loads of good stuff too.

I want to say thank you to all the wonderful and kind people I met that made it so fun: Tiny Hat and the Wonderkids (we’ll win it next year if we all bring bigger hats!), The Weekenders, Andrew @ blink, all of Team Hat, Scott from the Circle Rules Federation, Lizzy, Holly, Greg, all the guys from PM Studios and Claire and Dan (good sneaking).

And there were loads of people I saw working really hard to make it fun: Crazy Helen (wha, wha!), Vanessa, Duncan and, of course, The Simons, as well as loads of volunteers. It was an absolute blast, so cheers!

Back in the depths of our history we worked on a game for Simon Games and igfest ‘08 called Moosehunt and it was a whole ton of fun. In fact, due to popular demand, it’s being revived for igfest ‘09 which is happening this very weekend in and around Bristol.
