History Detectives
 

Welcome to the Future Historical Association. In History Detectives players explore a 3D simulation of various historical locations, from Kennedy’s Oval Office to a Victorian cotton mill, to search for clues and uncover the truth about the past.

 

Made for BBC Bitesize, the game targets players aged 11-14 to help teach them important skills of historical analysis and evaluation in line with the Key Stage 3 curriculum. It features four distinct time periods and over 50 unique environments. Players must examine a range of primary historical sources, including paintings, letters and newspapers, and answer questions to test their understanding.
